To create standout for WD_BLACK™, we played a different game to the competition
When creating content for the new range of WD_BLACK Game Drives, we looked to connect with gamers in a totally different way.
Under the campaign platform ‘Performance storage, purpose-built for gaming’, we created pieces of content that used the brand’s gaming heritage and expertise to focus on authenticity – giving gamers a reason to trust the WD_BLACK brand.
Instead of only talking about product and spec, we built a calendar of bespoke content that we knew would resonate with our audience. From partnerships with studios and interviews with developers, to passion projects such as building our own gaming rig and customising drives, our content cut through to create a genuine connection with gamers.
